Students
There are three students working on this project, and their
names are listed below
in alphabetical order of their family name:
Kevin Chan is originally from Taiwan, who has spent
the last nine years
and half in the United States. He is currently a senior in the
University of Nevada, Reno,
in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. He is skilled in
object-oriented
programming, especially in C/C++ and many other programming languages.
He and Ikuhiro
will be involved in the graphics designed and programming.
Yasumasa Nakai is a Computer Science
student from Japan, who will be graduating
in May 2007. He is skilled in system administration, but is also
capable in object-oriented
programming. He already has a job offered to him by Hitachi, Ltd. in
Japan, an international
corporation that is well-known for its involvement in a variety of
industries from computer
industry to building construction. He will be involved heavily in
software architecture in this project.
Ikuhiro Tanaka, who is from Japan and has
been in the United States for four years,
is studying computer science in the University of Nevada, Reno. He has
vast knowledge of
object-oriented programming language such as C/C++. Furthermore, he is
now learning the
computer graphics using openGL with Kevin.
Advisors
Dr. Sergiu Dascalu is the instructor for this
course, and therefore he would be
supervising every team including this one. Dr. Dascalu is currently
working for the Department
of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Nevada, Reno,
where he has been
working for many years. On the other hand, Dr. Fred Harris would be
assisting the development
team with technical advices.
Dr. Harris is also a professor with the
Department of Computer Science and Engineering
at UNR; he is specialized in computer graphic and parallel computing.
